2008 – Turkish Card Payment Sector has now become one of the largest markets of Europe thanks to almost one hundred million debit and credit cards, almost 61 percent utilization rate of credit cards for shopping, improved infrastructure with state-of-the-art technology, and many innovative products and chip&PIN application, ranging from the payments in installments and cash bonus collection opportunities, which are “the first in the world”.
