BKM Card Payments Index (Cardmeter)
BKM publishes Card Payments Index monthly as an indicator for card payments and household consumption. Indices are calculated with both nominal and real values, for which April 2015 is the base month.
Moreover, the indices are categorized into two groups: “General Card Payments Indices” (nominal and real) are calculated using all payment transactions with domestic cards, whereas “Household Card Payments Indices” (nominal and real) are calculated based on only retail domestic transactions, i.e. card payment transactions with domestic cards excluding Private Pensions payments and Government/Tax payments.
