What is bex?

bex is a digital wallet app that lets you keep your cards together by linking them to your phone number, and easily make payments by selecting from your linked cards. You can add your bank cards, credit cards, or prepaid cards to bex; and make online payments at integrated merchants without having to repeatedly enter your card information. You can pay with a QR code by selecting your preferred card from bex at all physical stores.

You can use bex not only at merchants but also on the payment pages of integrated public institutions.

Your card information and transactions are protected by Interbank Card Center (BKM). You can use bex completely free of charge.

How do you use bex?

With bex, you can complete online purchases quickly and securely, easily make public payments, and use QR codes for in-store purchases.

For Internet Purchases

On websites that accept payments integrated with bex, you can make purchases quickly and securely without re-entering your card information. Simply select bex during checkout, choose the card you want to use from those registered with bex and easily complete your payment.

For Public Payments

With bex, you can easily and securely make tax, municipal, and other public payments on the websites of integrated public institutions using your bex‑registered cards. During payment, select bex, choose the card you wish to use, and complete your transaction.

For In-Store Purchases

You can easily pay for in‑store purchases using QR codes. Open the bex mobile app, tap the QR Code button, select the card you want to use from your bex‑registered cards, and make your payment by showing the QR code on the POS device to your phone’s camera.

For Donations
You can easily donate to non-profit organizations through the bex mobile app. Open the bex mobile app, tap the “İşlemler” (Transactions) option in the sub‑menu, select the NGO you wish to donate to from the list, choose the donation amount and the card you want to use, and confirm your transaction.

How do you register with bex?

You can register with bex through four different channels:

• via websites that accept payments integrated with bex (using your mobile phone number)
• via the mobile applications of banks and electronic money institutions (EMIs) that include bex in their menus (using your mobile phone number)
• via the bex website (using your Turkish Republic ID number and mobile phone number)
• via the bex mobile application (using your Turkish Republic ID number and mobile phone number).

Cards you add to bex are saved by associating them with the mobile phone number you defined. This means you can use any card you add through any channel on all website payment pages and POS devices integrated with bex.

If you initially registered with bex through payment pages or a bank/EMI application, and later wish to use the bex mobile application, you can complete your user registration in the mobile application using the same mobile phone number. In this case, you can use the cards you previously added and that are linked to your mobile phone number in the mobile application without needing to add them again.

If you created separate accounts with different mobile phone numbers on mobile applications, websites, or bank/EMI applications, you may have multiple user accounts. If you want to consolidate your accounts, you can re‑add your cards by linking them with the mobile phone number associated with your user account in the mobile application.

Since your user registration on the bex mobile application is linked to your Turkish Republic ID Number, you can only have one user registration on the mobile application.

The cards you add to the mobile application are linked to your mobile phone number, and can be used on all websites that accept payments integrated with bex, and at all physical stores in Turkey that accept payments via QR code through POS devices.

A card can be linked to multiple mobile phone numbers if you verify it by entering the verification code sent by the issuing bank each time you add the card.
